However, at the beginning of every season, before sail sea or lake is necessary a rigorous maintenance of your boat. Water and weather can wear the hull and other boat’s accessories, above all the saltiness of seawater also increases the risk of corrosion. Our castors are suitable for trucks used for all the operations of maintenance, repair or haulage. Below we analyze in detail our proposals for different types of trucks.

HAULING TRUCKS

The launching cradle trucks are the perfect tool to carry boat in the shipyards and ports, as well as for storage. For those operations, you require truck stability and endurance of all its components. For launching cradle trucks and standard ways trucks for shipyards, we thought hard wheels are the best option.

We recommend the 849 article in its various forms as the wheel more ideal for this type of task. 849 is a polyurethane wheel with nylon core with the same values of load capacity of the cast iron, but with a considerably lower weight. It is also very resistant to wear and corrosion caused by atmospheric agents such as rain, snow and cold.

Other options to be considered are the white nylon castors, especially for the compactness of the material and their suitability for wet environments. We refer to articles 90/79N-inox, a white quality nylon wheel with a Stainless steel AISI 304 swivel castor resistant to corrosion and rust, 2505/GNFP a twin waterproof wheel in white nylon with a brake system and to carry loads up to 2500 kg (for 250 mm diameter version).

If you have to move heavy boats, the cast-polyurethane wheels are the most suitable choice to make shifts in maximum security: we suggest you the 2505/FP and 2505/GNPLFP, wheels with polyurethane coating and durable cast iron core. Both equipped with a zinc plated welded castor, they are able to transport heavy boats and motorboats. They also integrates a brake system, which is useful in case of difference of height in the surface.
