POLYURETHANE WHEELS FOR HEAVY LOADS
OMO Rocarr offers a set of professional polyurethane wheels, composed of products suitable for industrial trolleys application and for a professional use. The polyurethane is composed of a thermoplastic polyurethane elastomer (TPU) based on polyester polyol (series PATH, POTH, FPU) or polyetherpolyol (series FPTH), diisocyanate and glycol.
The polyurethane wheels are the perfect solution to avoid damages for the floor as the material is non-marking, and are also characterized by a high level of vibration absorption. The polyurethane is an elastic material with a high degree of resistance to abrasion and to aggressive chemical agents. However, the non-perfect moisture resistance (which can deform the material) makes them unsuitable for ironing laboratory, laundries and environments where there is boiling water or water vapor. The range of features is completed by an excellent fluidity but with an higher noise level than the rubber wheels.
The polyurethane wheels are great for trolleys and machinery with medium loads, even in the case of continuous movement. They can be used easily indoors and may also be subjected to sterilization processes. The ideal surfaces are tiles, cement and resin, but aren't suitable for dirt patch or in presence of small obstacles. Also suitable for delicate flooring because it does not stain and leave no residue on delicate flooring.
